Sutherland has a license to access Discovery Channel's United Streaming video collection. Students may download or stream videos from the collection by going to http://www.unitedstreaming.com/ . Use the passcode provided on your course outline to register. If you have lost it, see me for this information. Students are licensed to include this content within their own creations.

I have a student teacher this semester, Miss Hartigan, who is currently working with my grade 8s and regular grade 11s. She will also be posting information on her own blog and website.   • Tuesday, April 10 - Take up #1-3, p. 53. Hand in Geography Essay Assignment. Video & Questions: The Killing Ground. Read pp. 54-60. Do #1-6, p. 60.
  • Wednesday, April 11 - Take up homework. Complete video (if time needed). Trench warfare. Read sidebar, pp. 58-60. Do #1-3 (sidebar), p. 60.
  • Thursday, April 12 - Take up homework. The Conscription Crisis. Read article French Canada & Recruitment during the First World War Read the sidebar, pp. 50-51 & do #1-3, p. 51.
  • Friday, April 13 - Take up #1-3, p. 51. Literature of War Assignment. Using computers (if available) or handouts and library resources. 10 marks, due Monday.
