Social Studies 11 (Honours)

The Geography essay is due on Tuesday, April 10. If you have been procrastinating, get over it quickly. You have had more than 2 months now.

A Family History/Immigration Assignment has been distributed. It is not due until mid May, but it requires some digging into your family's past. Contact relatives about this and get onto it quickly to ensure you have the data to write the finished product in May.

The next unit test will likely be on Thursday, April 12 and will cover the Introduction, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2. Expect it to be out of around 40 multiple choice questions (1 mark each), 5 definitions (2 marks each), and 3 of 5 long answer questions (6 marks each). The total is therefore likely to be out of 68 marks. 25 flash cards will yield 5 bonus marks.
